PayItMonthly has recently completed our very first charity event. We were raising money for Motor Neuron Disease Association (MNDA) www.mndassociation.org. Motor Neuron Disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones.

Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing. It is a terrible disease with no cure.

MNDA  are the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland focused on MND care, research and campaigning. Around 3,500 people with MND use an Association funded care centre, this is approximately 70% of those with the disease.

We felt that the charity is such a deserving cause; and that if we can contribute just a little to help fund researching the disease and hopefully, one day, finding a cure; we would be thrilled to do our bit!

However, we could not have done this alone. To complete a raffle, the first thing we needed was prizes. There were some fantastic prizes donated by some very generous companies. So, we would like to say a huge thank you to the following:

The raffle took place on Friday the 24^th March 2017. We had fun drawing the raffle and the winners were pleased with the prizes they received.
