Celebrating a Decade of Success: PayItMonthly Hits the River!
To celebrate our 10th anniversary, the PayItMonthly team traded our computers and phones for paddles on a fantastic day out. This special event was one small way to thank the team for a decade of dedication and hard work.

The Journey to Ross-on-Wye
Our adventure started with a scenic trip to Ross-on-Wye, a beautiful town known for its riverside views. The journey itself was a great chance for team members from different departments to connect in a relaxed setting, setting the tone for our excursion.
Upon arrival, the fantastic team at Symonds Yat Canoe Hire provided us with everything we needed for our trip. We chose the Kerne Bridge route, a picturesque stretch of the River Wye with a mix of calm waters and gentle rapids, perfect for all skill levels.
Teamwork on the Water
The main event was of course the canoeing. Once we hit the water, the real fun began. To keep things interesting (and a little competitive!), we frequently swapped canoes and partners. This wasn't just about mixing up the dynamics; it was a deliberate exercise in adaptive teamwork.
Paddling with different colleagues required us to quickly learn new communication styles and find a rhythm together. This simple act of working in unison became symbolic for our work at PayItMonthly. Just as we navigate business challenges, we had to work together to steer our canoes and overcome obstacles.
A Well-Deserved Lunch
After a morning of paddling, we headed to the Old Court Hotel for a well-deserved lunch. The historic building and its serene gardens were the perfect place to refuel and relax. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff for accommodating us!
Sharing a meal together gave us another chance to reflect on the morning’s adventure and the past decade of our company's journey. We toasted to our many milestones and the exciting future ahead.

Our canoeing day out was a huge success. It was a powerful reminder that our success is built on the strength of our team. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we're looking forward to the future with the same spirit we showed on the River Wye.
