Updating your Bank Account Details
Updating Your Bank Account Details
For security reasons, any changes to your bank account details must be verified before they can be applied to your account.
You can request a bank account change at any time from within your PayItMonthly account.
Accessing the Bank Account Change Page
Log in to your PayItMonthly account and go to Admin > Settings.
From the menu across the top of the page, select Bank Account Change.
At the top of the page you'll see the bank account(s) currently registered on your account. This is the account(s) we use to:
- Collect your monthly fees by Direct Debit (where applicable).
Requesting a Bank Account Change
To begin your request, select Change/Add Account.
You'll then be able to choose which account you'd like to update:
- All Purpose – Updates both your payout account and Direct Debit account.
- Direct Debit – Updates only the account used to collect your monthly fees.
- Payouts – Updates only the account where your settlements are paid.
Enter the following information for your new bank account:
Uploading Your Verification Document
To help protect your account, you'll need to upload a recent bank statement for the new account.
Your bank statement should:
- Show your business or account holder name.
- Display the account number and sort code.
- Be dated within the last month.
Select Upload Document, then choose your bank statement.
Once uploaded, you'll be able to:
- Preview the document using the Eye icon.
- Remove it using the X icon if you've selected the wrong file.
Verifying Your Request
Once your bank statement has been uploaded, select Send Authentication Email.
We'll send a 6-digit verification code to the email address you use to sign in to PayItMonthly.
Enter the verification code into the boxes provided, then select Submit Request.
What Happens Next?
Once you've submitted your request, our team will review the information you've provided.
You'll receive an email confirming when your bank account details have been updated.
If we're unable to approve your request, we'll email you to explain why and let you know if anything further is required.
Top Tip
To help us approve your request as quickly as possible, upload a clear bank statement dated within the last month that shows the account holder name, sort code and account number.
